     Just perfect!

     Spacious yet warm & cozy, superbly decorated with vaulted ceilings, beautiful lighting, and a super comfortable bed. Lots of windows/natural light as well with a beautiful view.
     I was in town for the unhappy task of clearing out my grandmother’s apartment after she moved to a nursing home. Staying in this guesthouse became the highlight of my trip! It was the perfect home base with a kitchenette, plenty of closet space, a private entrance and ample parking to come and go as I needed to. Got to see snow fall for the very first time in my 52 years. Watching the snow fall through the wall of windows was like being inside a snow globe just as Gail says!

     Gail was extremely hospitable and, at the same time, very respectful of my privacy which I really appreciated. I have stayed in other establishments in this area, and I would definitely recommend Gail’s guesthouse over the others. My only regret is that my partner was not able to join me on this trip. The guesthouse is so romantic, and he would have loved it!

Lovely, cozy place to stay when in Coudersport!

We stayed for 5 nights at the guesthouse. I guarantee that Gail will go out of her way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It is located in a very peaceful and quiet part of town - ideal for ordering and picking up local take-out food since we were still hesitant to eat in restaurants. As a place to stay while exploring the local Allegheny National Forest attractions, it's perfect.

The place was just charming. The table was set with two wine glasses and two bottles of sparkling cider. The deck had pots of flowers. Handwritten notes were all over the place explaining everything. They checked in with us by text several times while we were there to make sure everything was ok. There are sample menus for local restaurants, interesting books about the area, full kitchen supplies...the place simply has everything you need. We will surely stay there again for some future visit. Thanks, Gail, for making our 40th anniversary vacation so memorable!
